Montana Federal Credit Union has received a Certificate of Qualification to act as an issuing agent for United States Savings Bonds. This means you can now order Series EE Savings Bonds through our Member Services Department.

Savings Bonds have always been a popular way to establish a long-term saving program. What a great way to start saving for your child's college education! Savings Bonds are also popular for birthdays, holidays and other special events. The accompanying gift certificate is helpful for last-minute gifts when there isn't enough time to deliver the bond itself.

Bond denominations range from $50 to $10,000. You pay half the denomination amount when you purchase the bond.. Depending upon the issue date and current market value, the bond can be redeemed for the full denomination amount between 8 to 18 years after the issue date.
