Membership Eligibility

Welcome to Montana Federal Credit Union! Credit union membership is unique and offers a full range of financial services. We are a financial institution owned and operated by our members. When you become a member of Montana Federal Credit Union you become part-owner and we work for you.

Who can join MFCU?

Montana Federal Credit Union proudly serves all residents of Cascade, Teton and Choteau counties.

How to join

You become a member of the Credit Union as soon as you open your first Regular Share (Savings) Account. To join, fill out an Application for Membership card and make an initial deposit of $5.00 or more (there are no membership fees). Once you open your Regular Share (Savings) Account, you have access to the many financial services available. Deposits may be made to your account by Payroll Deduction, Direct Deposit, in person, or by mail.
